MURDER ANYONE?

Murder, Anyone? is a witty and meta dark comedy that offers a unique blend of humor and chaos. Directed by James Cullen Bressack, the film is based on a play written by his late father, Gordon Bressack (famed writer of Pinky and the Brain). The story follows two playwrights, George and Charlie (played by Maurice LaMarche and Charles M. Howell IV), who are tasked with writing a mind-bending, surrealist neo-noir thriller. As they write, their characters and story come to life in real time, leading to unexpected and hilarious twists.

The film has garnered recognition at several film festivals, including winning big at the 2022 Indie Fest Film Awards, where Kristos Andrews, Galadriel Stineman, and Maurice LaMarche took home "Award of Excellence" honors for their performances. It also received acclaim at FilmQuest 2022. The film is celebrated for its clever commentary on the creative process, making it a must-see for fans of quirky, genre-bending films.

With its sharp writing, standout performances, and a blend of comedy and horror, Murder, Anyone? is a loving tribute from Bressack to his father’s work, and a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still delivering a meaningful punch.
